The Isle of Sky game farm is situated in the Tankwa Karoo next to the new emerging Tankwa Karoo National Park.   The game farm is about 300km and 3 hours from Cape Town.   The farm is over 4000ha with all internal fencing removed allowing game to roam freely.   The Tankwa Karoo is a unique and isolated ecosystem of succulent plants and karoo veld.

The Tankwa Karoo is mainly a summer rainfall area, however when large cold fronts approach the Cape during the winter months, the veld is transformed into a magnificent array of colour by the many different types of flowers.

The following species of game can be found in our veld:

Oryx, Springbuck, Blesbuck, Duiker, Steenbuck, Klipspringer, Jackal, Caracal, Aardvark, Baboon, the odd Kudu and Leopard and of course many smaller mammals and numerous species of birds.
